Turin’s Tuttosport newspaper reports on Friday (17) that Juventus will make a major overhaul of its squad for next season. At least five players will leave Vecchia Signora at the end of the season. Among the transferable are Gonzalo Higuaín, Federico Bernardeschi, Sami Khedira, Blaise Matuidi, and Daniele Rugani.

Juventus’ intention is to reduce the average age of its squad. Another reason for so many exchanges is the request of the coach Maurizio Sarri for the club to hire players that fit more in his game philosophy.

Recently, former Juventus Alessio Tachhinardi stated that the team is not listening to the coach. “At first I thought it was Sarri who asked them to play like that, but now I am convinced that the players are not doing what he wants,” Tacchinardi told the newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport”.
